What does RivalSweep actually do?

You tell us which competitor pages matter — pricing, product, integrations, positioning. We check them on a schedule, store a before/after diff whenever something changes, and use AI to classify what kind of change it is. On Team and Scale plans, we also write a short note on the likely impact. The diff is always the fact; the AI note is always labeled as interpretation.

How do I get access?

It's fully self-serve. Register from the homepage, verify your email, then pick a plan and complete checkout with Paddle. Your workspace is provisioned automatically the moment checkout succeeds — there's no waitlist and no manual approval step.

Do you need a login to monitor a competitor's page?

No. We only monitor public pages, and we never bypass logins, solve CAPTCHAs, or use rotating proxies to get around access controls. If a page needs authentication to view, we won't crawl it.

How does billing work?

Billing runs through Paddle, our merchant of record, so pricing already includes applicable taxes. There's no free trial: approved accounts start on the Starter plan and can upgrade to Team or Scale at any time from Settings.

Which plans use real AI classification?

All of them. Every plan — Starter included — classifies changes with Anthropic's Claude models, metered against the plan's monthly AI budget (you can also buy credit packs for extra headroom). Team and Scale additionally get a deeper impact write-up on high-importance events. If the AI provider is unavailable or the budget is used up, we automatically fall back to a fast offline heuristic — a crawl never breaks because of it.

How often are pages checked?

It depends on your plan: Starter checks daily, Team every 6 hours, and Scale hourly. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.

How long do you keep monitoring history?

60, 180 or 365 days depending on your plan. If you downgrade, data above your new plan's limits is paused, not deleted — nothing customer-visible is removed except an explicit, confirmed account deletion.

I found a bug or something looks wrong — who do I tell?

Email [email protected] with what you saw and, if you can, a link to the affected page or change event. We read every message.
