Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
The service
RivalSweep monitors public competitor pages you configure and turns relevant changes into evidence-backed intelligence: a stored before/after diff, an AI-assisted classification, and — on some plans — a short AI-written note on likely impact. That note is always an interpretation, not a fact; the diff is the fact.
Managed beta and accounts
During managed beta, new accounts go on a waitlist and are approved individually — we may decline or delay access at our discretion. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your login credentials safe.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use RivalSweep to monitor pages you don't have a legitimate business reason to track.
- Attempt to make us crawl content behind a login, a paywall, or any access control.
- Interfere with, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
- Resell or sublicense access to the service without our written consent.
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Paddle, our merchant of record — Paddle is the seller for tax and payment-processing purposes. There is no free trial; approved accounts start on our Starter plan and can upgrade at any time. You can cancel whenever you like; we don't offer prorated refunds for partial months unless required by law. See our Refund Policy for details.
Data and retention
We keep the evidence we collect for as long as your plan's retention period, described on our pricing page. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
Disclaimer and liability
RivalSweep is provided "as is". We work to keep monitoring accurate and timely, but we don't guarantee that every change will be detected or classified correctly — AI-generated analysis can be wrong. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll notify active accounts of material changes by email before they take effect.
